K-12 Poetry Contest

April is National Poetry Month. Celebrate by writing your own poem and entering it into our library-wide contest for K-12th graders! All poems will then be submitted to the Gwendolyn Brooks Youth Poetry Awards. Grades K-5 have a max of 25 lines, and grades 6-12 have a max of 50. Submit your poems to the Youth or Reference Desks by April 24th to be entered in for a prize!
